Patina
Oxidation of all types of wood.
For exteriors and interiors
Tannic or non-tannic
These products replicate the appearance and color of wood weathered by time.
These oxidants use the same mechanisms as nature, allowing you to achieve the desired color.
The desired effect on the wood can be enhanced through mechanical preparation: Brushing with a nylon abrasive brush like “TIMEX” mounted on an industrial or manual brush machine.
Regarding the choice of wood, it is advisable to use wood of 2nd and 3rd categories that have knots and cross veins which provide relief to the piece being treated.
You can also use split wood, which reinforces the aged effect of the wood.
For a more subtle result, you can use simply sanded and weathered wood.
